Ramnista 2009

Ramnista has been for years the ambassador wine of Kir-Yianni and, for many, of the Naoussa Xinomavro itself. It is produced from selected blocks of the single vineyard in the Yianakohori Estate in Naoussa.

2009 is the oldest Ramnista vintage, which is commercially available from Ktima Kir-Yianni, through the Warehouse 10 platform. Only 40 bottles are released for the 10th post-vintage anniversary. Pre-2009 vintages, including the first 1994 release, are locked in the library and are not available for sale.

With exuberant aromas of red fruits, sun-dried tomatoes and olives, round tannins and a long aftertaste, the 2009 Ramnista, skillfully highlights the ageing potential of superb Xinomavros and their transformation over time.
