The first Goumenissa PDO by Kir-Yianni, comes from the 1.5 ha vineyard, Bidabla – a.k.a. high hill, which was planted with Xinomavro in 1996. The heavy red-clay soil is the main characteristic of this terroir with southwestern exposure resulting in a complex wine white the hint of local Negkoska contributes to the medium tannins and acidity.
