MONEMVASIA SIM 2023
The old-aged tradition of Cycladic viticulture meets the innovative winemaking techniques and the signature style of winemaker Stellios Boutaris in a new range of wines that expresses the qualities of the indigenous varieties of the Aegean Sea.
Monemvasia, the grape that originated in the Peloponnese, is widely cultivated in the Cyclades, especially on the mountainous terraces of Paros where it is used to make the namesake white PDO wine.
The vineyard of local grower Arsenis Loukis from Aspries of Agios Andreas yielded a fresh dry white wine with spirited acidity.
This Monemvasia is pleasant to drink now on its own and is an ideal match for seafood and Mediterranean dishes.
